The Way of Liberation arises from the Devotional Love Sacrifice of the body and mind in the Heart

Love is whole bodily Life-Communion, whole bodily God the Real Communion. However there is a habit of thinking that persists in the notion that Spiritual Practice, Spiritual Life, is discovered or entered into by going into the mind, going inside, working on one’s self and being philosophically wise. All this however is just more consolation and fascination within and for the subjective self, the ego-mind-self. In other words, it is attention directed by the habit of being possessed of the self not of Life.

The ego-self is the phenomenon that seeks to make permanent what is otherwise always in flux, always in change. It is only the ego-self, the ego-mind, that desperately wants to prevent the Natural Sacrifice of the body within the Great Impersonal Process of Nature, the Process of the Heart. The ego-mind, the self-enclosed limited mind urgently wants to, needs to, “make meaning” out of this world, others, life and death.

Yet, consider this, all the meanings we humans propose, no matter how elaborate, no matter how spiritual, do not actually inhere in things or events nor life and death themselves. Meaning is a function of the ego-mind – the “I” that seeks to differentiate itself from others and all existence. The ego-mind-self is the one who seeks independent self-satisfaction and thus resists the changing appearance and always disappearing destiny of the body/mind self.

It is the ego-mind-“I” that makes up its own story, its own concept of itself. The individual consciousness is a self that exists within her or his bubble of separate psychology guardedly maneuvering around other equally insular bubbles of consciousness. It is always on the alert against any incoming threat.

This is the source of materially driven individualism. We cling tenaciously to the materialistic concept of ourselves. In this way, we as the ego-mind-“I”, are in direct opposition to the Truth Condition or the Divine Will of Natural Life. We are obsessed by the physicality of our own existence and are thus withdrawn from the Great Stream of Life that all Nature abides in.

We may very well speak of the Great Spiritual Reality, of Guru-Bhava, of Love, however, we are most generally speaking about our own meanings “about” these Unconditional Realities. But, Love or Guru-Bhava is Life Communion not bodily self-concern and its will to conform love to itself.

The ego “I” is the “I” that is involved in the realm of the mind; that “I” is always struggling with concepts and meaning and purpose. The usual individual is constantly withdrawing into the mind and terrorizing him or herself with what they find.

The ego “I” mind-self is Life-denying, Life suppressing. The ego “I” mind self is a phenomenon that exists in the absence of Human-Life-Communion. In the absence of Whole Life Communion our attention turns inward to the separate body-self and all the concerns of its own egoic (separate bodily-self) satisfaction and survival.

In the absence of True Guru-Bhava or Life-Communion we become bonded to all the egoic emotional reactions, all the bodily-saving rituals of modern life, and all the rituals of singular self-defense against the realities of the Living Body Process in Nature.

Clinging to our bodily self-concept we are rather sorrowful. Trying to save our bodily conceptual self we are most fundamentally involved in either secular or spiritual efforts to modify the underlying mood of depressed ego.
Our fundamental motive is to “save face”, and to this effort we reduce or conform Love to the consoling and limited motives of the separate bubble of psychological self. We literally strip the Vitality out of Love, out of Life.

We do not become Free of egoic fear – separate bodily self-concern – merely by thinking about it, trying to work it out, trying to find the meaning that fits with our own experiential singular bodily self.   We do not burst out of the separate bubble of psychology by using the mind within the separate psychophysical bubble. We are not Liberated from the limited self-enclosed mind by talking about all the concerns of the limited self-enclosed mind no matter how impressed we are with our self from that point of view.

Liberation involves making obsolete the concept of you. You as the separate bubble of mental concepts that proposes to Liberate itself with the same thinking that created the problem.

The individual is not a student in Life – a student in the Way of True Liberation – until she or he is willing to see and understand her or his own personal way of living out the drama of the ego-mind-self-bubble and, at the same time, beginning to intuit and value and love the Divine Condition, the Inherently Natural Process of the bodily Being in Life.

It is only by this self-understanding and the awakening of a non-conceptual attraction to the Truth Condition that one truly enters into the profound stage of a conscious student in Life.

The Great Response is a rebellion of the Heart in order for the awakening of Awareness that is Inherent in us all. The Great Response arises from the Heart, the non-conceptual Heart. All the bodily-based (the separate self conceptual image) concerns are an obstruction to the Real Awakening of the Heart.

Leave your body alone and allow it to Gracefully follow its natural evolution within the Great Stream of the Heart.

If you are not Free to allow your body to change then You are not Free to die. If you are not Free to die then You are not Free to Love. And, if You are not Free to Love you are not Free to help and allow others to change and grow in Love.
