The We are obliged by the Great Law of Existence to Awaken and Be in Devotional Love Remembrance of the Spiritual Foundation that makes all existence possible

It is easier to talk about objective matters and much more difficult to speak about inner mysteries. Well, it’s not so much that we should not talk about worldly things, conditional things and all the things to do with our conditional existence – in other words, the temporary aspect of existence.
If there is a ‘however’, the however is the conditional aspect, the material aspect that tends to consume most of our attention. The physical impressiveness tends to distract us and indeed overwhelm us, to the point we have either lost awareness of the Spiritual Potency of all manifest existence, including of course our own unique bodily form, or we pay it just enough lip service so as to not disturb our conditional self-preservation.

The reason we become obsessed with the desire to experience this or that to feel alive, relieved or consoled, is that we have fallen out of Love, which is to say we have fallen out of the Spiritual Potency of our existence.

It is our self-possession, our withdrawal from Love, the Spiritual Potency of existence, that produces a false or self-deceptive motivation for Spiritual Understanding. We tend to resort to chronic thinking and experiencing as the means used to seek and “be in” Love or the Spiritual Truth. Yes, there are certainly aspects of our physical or conditional existence that require thinking attention and consideration. However, if we do not outgrow our early inevitable emotional confrontation with the fact of our limited body-mind existence, our attention and awareness tend to become fixated on the conditional world, on experience and knowing as the means of “dealing with our life.”

The inevitable emotional encounter with the obvious limitation of the body-mind tends to become buried and hardened in the individual, exerting an extensive influence on the way we perceive our self and all our relations and ideas of Spiritual Practice. In other words, our identity as a separate and mortal body motivates and informs us about Life and Love and each other.
We very quickly become consumed in the struggle to survive physically, rather than becoming involved in the Great process of surviving as a Spiritual Being.

To Truly be in Love, to Truly Honour Life, to Truly feel Love-Devotional-Surrender (of the ego-self) and to Truly Adore the Being, we must always be Awake to the Spiritual Potency of all existence, of all bodies. This is Ecstatic Remembrance, this is what it means to be Distracted by the Real - the Spiritual Potency of all. It is our Truly Devotional Surrender into the Living Spiritual Potency of all this existence, this temporary conditional realm, that makes us able to interact in all our relations with Free Attention, which is Love.

The Ashram Heart Hermitage is a physical Agency solely for the Transmission of the Spiritual Potency of all existence. It must never be diluted or degraded by the demands and wants of any individual’s agenda.
It is not simply a place of refuge from the world or a place where each person, in their own egoic way, seeks their Enlightenment. It is not a circumstance set aside merely to create different and interesting experiences, or the acquisition of knowledge.

Furthermore, the Spiritual Potency with which any Spiritual Adept continually infuses Her/His physical Ashram is not a one-off, now it’s done exercise. The Spiritual Potency of Tushita Ashram Heart Hermitage must be kept Alive and will only be kept Alive by the continuing self-forgetting (Ecstatic Remembering) Love Devotional Attitude and Service of Living Devotees.

It is all too easy to say we love this or that, when all the time we are obsessed with our own forms of seeking. We can so easily verbalise how this or that is sacred, how we should be loving each other, how community would be and so on. However, the Spiritual Potency of the Heart Hermitage will not be kept Alive and Active merely by regarding the Way of the Heart as a means of fulfilling our individual needs and wants, no matter how much we say we love it.

It takes a Great deal of Free Devotional Energy (not our own individual agenda) to maintain the Spiritual Potency of any circumstance in human affairs and even more in a Heart Hermitage, where the Active Spiritual Potency of a Spiritual Adept and His/Her physical resources are all Agents that Serve to Awaken us to a Greater Awareness and Active Participation in the Spiritual Real.

When and if the Tushita Ashram Hermitage acquires land (or any worldly resources) the land is not merely land. It is not simply a piece of land on which to create one or other experience designed to suit our individual satisfaction.
It is a Divine Circumstance, a Sanctuary of the Spirit. We must, first of all, Sit silently with It, Listen to It, Feel It, Companion It and altogether Be in Communion with It. We must, first of all, be in Communion with the Spiritual Potency of the land, before we impose our own self-seeking agendas on It.

Communion is senior to Community. In fact, there is no True Community unless all the inhabitants are in self-forgetting Communion with the Spirit that actually makes all things possible.

It is only the Free Attention Communion of Awakened Devotees of the Spiritual Real that will keep Alive the Spiritual Master’s Spiritual Potency. And the Spiritual Master is the All Pervading Spiritual Potency of this conditional existence. The Human Form (Her or Him) of the All-Pervading Spiritual Master is the Instrument for the Spiritual acculturation of all Humanity, no matter who you are.

Sooner or later, one way or the other, we all must and will dissolve into the Mystic Spiritual Truth of all Existence.
